Label Holders / Ticket Strips
These profiles are used extensively in the Point of Sale industry, but have wider uses within Warehousing and other environments where barcode or information scanning is required. Label Holder is the most common description, but they are also known as Ticket Strips, Data Strips, Price Holders, EPOS Strips, Shelf Strips, Shelf Edge Strips, Shelf Label Holders, Shelf Price Holders, Plastic Label Holders, Warehouse Label Holders and many other similar descriptions.

Please note that we do not stock any of these profiles, they are all made to order, and production runs are subject to minimum order quantities. The tooling is listed in order of Ticket/Label size, and the actual dimensions of the profile are therefore larger - drawings are provided for many of the sections to illustrate this.
Label Holders can be attached to the shelf or surface in several ways:
Self-adhesive Label Holders
Self adhesive double sided tape is easy to apply during extrusion of the plastic label holders, is relatively inexpensive, available in many different widths, and can be clear (Polyester Tape) for good adhesion with transparent label holders, or thicker (Foam Tape) for excellent adhesion in any environment.
Clip-on Label Holders
Many of the ticket strips detailed on the attached pages are designed to clip, stick or fasten onto specific shelving systems, and have the necessary legs or C clips designed into the extrusion. Where legs are used, they can have nubs and spars to fit over shelf edges, or have legs that pinch and grip. For fixing onto rails, baskets or round locators, C clips are often used, enabling the label holder to snap-on.
Magnetic Label Holders
Similar to the double sided tape, magnetic strips can be applied to the ticket strips during the extrusion process, using adhesive. They are then easy to affix to warehouse racking or metal shelving in general, and can be relocated whenever required.
Label Holders are broadly divided into two types:
Open Label Holders
These are the simpler C section design, where the label or ticket is exposed. Because of this, the material need not be clear, is less visible and is therefore more suitable for rigid PVC. Colours can be suited to the application, e.g. dark green label holders for Garden Centres.
Covered Label Holders
More commonly called EPOS Strips, because of their general usage in Point of Sale locations, these are usually extruded in a thin clear rigid plastic (PVC or PETG) which allow the label to be inserted behind the cover and still be fully visible and scanned.
