We recently donated the contents to a local homeless charity and they were very pleased!
Perhaps other companies can do the same in their local area?
We are leaving the box in place and will be making further donations in due course.
A STRIMMER used by volunteers to transform vulnerable people's gardens has been replaced free of charge after thieves stole the original.
Plastic manufacturing company TP Extrusions in Stevenage has come to the rescue of the North Hertfordshire Centre for Voluntary Service's Time Bank team after a petrol strimmer was stolen from a locked up shed in Letchworth GC last month.
The shed was subsequently emptied of all garden equipment - used by volunteers who contribute their time to help the vulnerable - and thieves returned a week later and stole the shed itself. The stolen strimmer has now been replaced with a brand new model donated by TP Extrusions based in Caxton Way.
Nicki Handscombe from Time Bank said: "The support from Graham Winterbone, the director of TP Extrusions has been fantastic and the garden team are looking forward to using it to bring new life to our members' gardens."
