A range of Plastic H Section sizes and styles is stocked and available on a next working day basis. These are in popular colours and packs of different lengths. Production runs are possible from stock tools.

Stock Plastic 2 Part H Sections

Plastic extrusions for board mounting that must be done face-on, or where board or panel sizes are variable, we also stock 2 Part H Section. The base section can be mounted, boards positioned and the top section then pressed into place – the barbs on the top section being held by the ridges within the base.

Please note it is possible for us to supply either section by itself, if required.

Custom H Sections

TP Extrusions also has a wide range of Plastic Extrusion Tooling for made to order H Section (both equal and unequal), Butt Joint, Jointing Strip and Division Bar, all listed below. This type of tooling is generally cost-effective to make, so if you cannot find the exact profile you require, please contact us for H Section tooling enquiries

However if you cannot find what you are looking for we offer a Custom Plastic Extrusion Option and would welcome your enquiry.

Please note that where a tool is described as “Flexible”, the profile can only be run in this material. All other tooling is suitable for both rigid and flexible production.

Regarding the tapering of legs on each Plastic H section, commonly done so that the inserted material is gripped, the angle of taper can generally be varied when produced, so that a tool can be used for parallel or tapering legs.
